Girls Night Out is Thursday, November 13

Come join us for Girls Night Out in Downtown Iron Mountain for some pre-hunting shopping and fun on November 13, sponsored by First Bank. It’s an action-packed evening of shopping, dining, and hanging out at all of your favorite Downtown places. This is a great way to boost the local economy in our vibrant Downtown, unite with friends, and celebrate! It all happens on Thursday, November 13, from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM (CST).

After you wrap up your shopping, join us at Sol Blu Lounge & Tap Room for the official Girls Night Out After Party from 7:00 – 9:30 PM, featuring live music by Melanie Rose. The DDA will also be giving away one-of-a-kind Girls Night Out bags! It’s the perfect way to wrap up an evening of laughter, friendship, and memories in Downtown Iron Mountain.

Summer 2025 Was A Great One!

It was a great summer this year in Downtown Iron Mountain - full of flowers, music, festivals, fun, and 19 Saturday mornings with the Farmers & Artisans Market (FAM).  The occasional stormy weather was great for the flowers and our 20 new downtown trees, but did cause some disruptions for a few events. In any event, the show must go on and it did - we had 9 Out to Lunch dates outdoors at the Downtown Stage and a wonderful evening at Italian Fest. The summer events season wrapped up with a very well-attended and fun-filled Oktoberfest at the end of September, followed by the last two FAM Saturdays in October.

The DDA would like to thank our many sponsors for all of the summer 2025 activities and events Downtown. There are too many to mention here, but they are all listed on the various event and Downtown Flowers pages on our website at downtownironmountain.com. Volunteers were also instrumental in bringing flowers and festivals to Downtown every year - over 100 volunteers planted flowers, helped us conduct festivals, and engaged in other activities to keep Downtown vibrant. The DDA will have a similar schedule of summer events in 2026 - If you missed anything this year, we’ll do it again in 2026! Please take a look at the Events page on our website to see all of them, and we’ll be finalizing the 2026 dates in November or early December. The Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority (DDA) plans and conducts three major festivals and a series of smaller events every year in Downtown Iron Mountain. In total, these festivals and events bring some sort of activity to the Downtown area on 35 dates of every year. These are in addition to numerous other events conducted by various local organizations downtown every year.
