Frequently Asked Questions

What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. The festival will occur rain or shine.

I can no longer attend the event. Can I sell my ticket to someone else, or give it to a friend?
Yes, tickets are transferrable and you may sell your ticket to someone else for face value. You may also give your tickets away if you like. There is nothing special you need to do to transfer tickets to another person. The Iron Mountain DDA does not permit scalping of tickets, which is illegal. We reserve the right to invalidate any tickets known to have been scalped. Each bar code will only scan one time.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You must bring a ticket with a valid QR or bard code with you to be scanned to allow you entry to the festival. This ticket can either be printed or can be the electronic version accessible on your smartphone or wireless device.

*Please note, if purchasing multiple tickets in one transaction, each individual must have an electronic or paper copy of the ticket.*

What is considered scalping, and why is it so bad?
Selling tickets for more than face value is considered scalping and is against the law. The Iron Mountain DDA reserves the right to invalidate any tickets discovered to have been scalped. For this reason and others, we strongly encourage you NOT to buy second-hand tickets for which the seller is asking more than face value plus the ticket fee.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All festival attendees must be 21 or older to enter, even if they are designated drivers and are not drinking. A valid government ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) is required for festival entry, with NO exceptions.

Can I bring my 18-year-old son/daughter with me as a Designated Driver?
No, all guests entering the festival must be 21 or older with a valid photo ID.

Can I bring my baby / young child with me into the event?
Children and infants are not permitted under any circumstances, for their own safety and the safety of our guests. Thank you for understanding that these festivals are adult-only events.

Can I leave the festival and come back in later?
Yes – guest’s hands will be stamped for re-entry.

Where do I pick up my tokens and sample cup?
You can pick up these items upon entering the festival.

Why do I need to use tokens if I already paid for a ticket?
The Iron Mountain DDA utilizes drink tokens and specially marked sample cups to assure that we comply with Michigan Liquor Control Commission regulation and have a controlled means of serving beer. All festivals attendees are expected to willingly provide a token for each and every sample of beer received. Thank you for your cooperation which keeps us in compliance with state law.

Do you have any soft drinks or other non-alcoholic refreshments available?
There will be soft drinks and other n/a refreshments for sale at the concessions area.

Is there food available at the festival?
