DDA Sponsorship Opportunities Available Now

The Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is in the process of planning this year’s summer events, festivals, beautification (flowers), and Farmers & Artisans Market. There are some great opportunities for getting in on the action by becoming a sponsor, and we want everyone to know what is available – that’s why we put all of the information right here on the website at the Sponsorship Opportunities page.

These opportunities include a wide variety of choices for marketing your business or organization while supporting some important community activities such as Out to Lunch, downtown flowers, and Italian Fest, just to name a few. The DDA has developed a range of unique sponsorship opportunities to suit just about any preference, so everyone is offered a good fit for supporting our great community activities and investing in the present and future of Downtown Iron Mountain.

The marketing exposure of your sponsorship goes a long way. At a minimum, we’re promoting all sponsors and supporters on our website. Then for larger sponsors, there’s mention in print, radio, and TV interviews and ads, “clickable” linked logos on the DDA website, and also logos on social media posts and signage. For the top tier sponsors – generally $4000 to $6500 – there are benefits like co-hosting Facebook posts, banners at events, and naming rights for the Downtown Stage.

Everything the non-profit DDA does is ultimately about maintaining, enhancing, improving, and growing the downtown area in the heart of our community. That includes festivals and events, a locally-funded grant program that supplies $15,000 – $20,000 to building owners every year for renovations, the downtown flowers and gardens, the downtown event space, and the Farmers & Artisans Market. The DDA is also engaged in finding State and Federal dollars for anything related to downtowns and building renovation, and is in the process of doing city planning work to be able to fund some significant public and private sector projects in the Iron Mountain Downtown District.

Please take a look at the entire lineup of opportunities on the Sponsorship Opportunities page. If you see something you’re interested in, we would love to have a conversation. If not, we would still love to have a conversation! You can contact Kenzie Williamsen, Event Coordinator, at events@downtownironmountain.com or Tim McCauley, Program Coordinator, at programs@downtownironountain.com or call 906-774-8539, leave a message if we’re away from the phone.
