To start, the Downtown Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Market is only about halfway through the 20-week season, and happens every Saturday morning. That’s at the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street, right across from the Library, from 8:00 am to noon. We should also mention that Run Iron Mountain will be at the downtown festival space on Saturday, September 21. Next up on Saturday, September 28 is the annual Iron Mountain Oktoberfest, at the usual festival space across from the Library at the Systems Control Downtown Stage, and in its tenth year! The 2024 Oktoberfest will, in line with tradition, feature plenty of outdoor games and lively music. It’s been a favorite with locals and visitors alike for many years, so be sure to join everyone for some good cheer and gemütlichkeit.

Bring the kiddos and join us for the Pumpkin Walk trunk-or-treat on Saturday, October 26. Hunting season kicks off with Girls Night Out on Thursday, November 14, and guys can join us too, especially since they can’t legally hunt with a gun until Friday! And last but not least is the Christmas Walk on Friday, December 6. It’s a great way to start the Holiday Season, have a visit with Santa, and join in the community tree lighting celebration.
