annual oktoberfest iron mountain michiganOf course, Oktoberfest is all about good fun, good food, good drink, good live tunes, and plenty of gemütlichkeit, whether it’s in Munich or Iron Mountain. It starts with the delicious food from Millie’s Market and Curious Pig, along with a wide selection of Oktoberfest and other seasonal beers. The live music this year features three awesome bands, including DayDreamers getting the party started just after noon, Backstage Pass in late afternoon, and Sixx Gunns Loaded in the evening.

For kids, there will be activities from noon to 5pm, including bounce houses and slides. For the big kids, there’s fun with hammerschlagen and the stein holding competition.

We also have the Oktoberfest raffle sponsored by 41 Lumber. This is a fundraiser to support Downtown revitalization, and you can win one of 10 fantastic gift baskets.
