The 11th Anniversary Downtown Iron Mountain Oktoberfest is back on Saturday, September 27th from noon until 10pm. We’ll be at the usual place – the Downtown Stage and City parking lot at the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street, right across from the Dickinson County Library. Many thanks to First National Bank & Trust for being the Signature Sponsor.
Admission is only $10 at the entrance, and kids 12 and under get in FREE! For all of the event details, just go to downtownironmountain.com/oktoberfest.
Want to save some money and make a valuable contribution? Please volunteer and get free admission, $10 in drink tickets, and a $10 food voucher. That’s a great value! You can sign up online right HERE on this website.
Of course, Oktoberfest is all about good fun, good food, good drink, good live tunes, and plenty of gemütlichkeit, whether it’s in Munich or Iron Mountain. It starts with the delicious German-inspired food from Millie’s Market, Meat Sweats BBQ, and Harmony Hearth Bakery, along with a wide selection of Oktoberfest and other seasonal beers. The live music this year features three awesome bands, including local favorite 141 North getting the party started just after noon, then authentic, festive entertainment rooted in the music of Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic by Dorf Kapelle in late afternoon, and finally The Descendants in the evening.
For kids, there will be activities from noon to 5pm, including bounce houses and slides. For the big kids, there’s fun with hammerschlagen, Mr. & Ms. Oktoberfest, and the stein holding competition.
We also have the Oktoberfest 50/50 raffle. This is a fundraiser to support Downtown revitalization and events, and you can win one of two cash prizes.
Vielen Dank (many thanks) to all or our sponsors for being instrumental in making this great event happen in 2025, including First National Bank & Trust, Iron Mountain Area Tourism, 41 Lumber, Northern Interstate Bank, Frog 101.5, Mouw & Celello, and Danielson Insurance.
