Iron Mountain Brew Fest is June 8!

Brew Fest is a fun tasting event featuring beer, wine, and spirits with food and live music. Come to historic Downtown Iron Mountain MI on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from noon to 5:00pm for an enjoyable Saturday afternoon to taste an assortment of beer, wines, and spirits from some of our local favorites in the Upper Peninsula, south of the Mackinac Bridge, and Wisconsin.

Purchase of a ticket includes a Brew Fest taster glass along with tokens to taste beverages from a selection of about a dozen Michigan and Wisconsin breweries and distilleries. Many of our favorites from last year will be back again too. The selection includes Alpha Michigan Brewing Company (Alpha MI), 51st State Brewing (Kingsford MI), Barrel & Beam (Marquette MI), Tripleroot Brewery (Zeeland MI), Shorts Brewing Company (Bellaire MI), Starcut Ciders (Bellaire MI), LoDuca Wine & Spirits (New Berlin WI), Fox River Brewing (Appleton WI), Ore Dock Brewing Co. (Marquette MI), Upper Hand Brewery (Escanaba MI), Iron Fish Distillery (Thompsonville MI), and Bell’s Brewery (Kalamazoo MI). Downtown Iron Mountain restaurant Oddfellows is also joining Brew Fest in 2024 with some non-alcoholic beer and wine selections.

The food is local favorite Curious Pig (Crystal Falls MI), and there are also plenty of eating and drinking establishments nearby in Downtown Iron Mountain. To see a list, go to the Business Directory at downtownironmountain.com. Perennial Out to Lunch favorite Flagship Romance will provide the entertainment for Brew Fest.

For all of you Wisconsin folks who like to spend some time in the north woods, Iron Mountain MI is right on the border and across the Menominee River. It’s just a short 1 or 2 hour road trip from Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Rhinelander, Marinette, Stevens Point, and Wausau. If you’re down in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Madison, or even Chicago IL, it’s a 3 to 5 hour drive, which is still very reasonable for a weekend. If you need a place to stay, just do a quick Google search and you’ll see an abundance of lodging in the Iron Mountain area.

So don’t wait! If you’re looking for something different and unique to do on a weekend in early summer up north, get your tickets now because attendance is limited to 500 people to keep this event intimate, casual, and relaxing. There will be plenty of ale, lager, cider, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages on hand. If you’re looking for more to do on a weekend or vacation in the Iron Mountain area, you can find more information at www.ironmountain.org. Finally, many thanks to our sponsors, especially Signature Sponsor Bacco Construction. We’ll see you at Brew Fest on Saturday, June 8, 2024!
